ECAD Database for CADWorx Available

For the last couple weeks, I’ve been out of town training and checking into creating an installer for all of our products.  We’ve decided to go ahead and release the database in the store so that you guys can start playing with it.  Feel free to Contact Us if you run into any issues or if you want to leave Feedback.  The database includes some great new time saving features which are worth checking out – like being able to import data from a project, connect to a SQL Server database, and navigation aids on the forms.

Check out the product page to download it, or view the information for the ECAD Database.

We’d love to hear from you and hope you enjoy the new ECAD Database for CADWorx!

I am working with ACDWorx Plant Professional 2010. I am continually getting “Autocad is out of memory” errors and have experienced up to 8 program crashes in as little as 4 hours. It makes it very hard to be productive that way. Is that the CADWorx program or AutoCAD or is it a computer issue? Also, I have frequently needed fittings that the program will not create nor does it recognize it’s own commands to insert these fittings. Cn you help? Is there a download or fix for these issues? I am at wit’s end and am looking into getting another piping program and a bigger computer.

    • This is typically an AutoCAD issue. In 2009, this type of error would occur frequently, but in recent releases has been fixed for most scenarios. It can also be a computer issue depending on how large (file size) your models are, and how many objects or the level of detail you are trying to view. I think 2009 had several service packs that should help address the issue, but I can’t give more specific help since I don’t know your computer setup. We have switched platforms ourselves to AutoCAD Plant 3D, so we won’t be providing new CADWorx solutions or resolutions.

  • Having a problem with process lines that are Linked showing up in the database as “Linked” without the drawing number it is associated with, is there anything that can be done to change this? Thank You
